Keys
When you book a stay with us, you will be given a key to the front and back doors and a lockbox code will be supplied to you before arrival. There are sensor lights to guide you to the rear of the house.
We invite you to open the downstairs doors and enjoy the view and lovely breeze while you are at home but ask if you can lock the front door and draw the curtains when leaving or spending time away from the house.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso machine, blender, toaster, kettle and all the standard utensils to cook, bake and BBQ.
Some Nespresso capsules have been provided to get you started. Anything left in the fridge or pantry is for you to enjoy. Please dispose of all perishables when you leave.
Lounge Room and Dining
You have a selection of two TV’s. Foxtel is available on the upstairs sunroom television and a DVD player is connected to the downstairs set. Netflix, Stan or your preferred platform is available on both TV’s through your account.
This central area is air conditioned.
Bedrooms
Each bedroom is supplied with linen, bedding and bath towels. You will also find a ceiling fan in each room along with a cupboard, reading lamp and side tables. There is also an oil heater in each bedroom.
Linen, bedding and a towel for the single chair bed are also available upon request.
Bathrooms and Toilets
There are two bathrooms and a separate toilet upstairs. The bathrooms are stocked with hand towels, bath mats, toilet paper, hand wash and guest soap.
Laundry
The laundry is situated upstairs and is equipped with a top loader washing machine, an ironing board, an iron, broom and a Dyson vacuum.
Outdoor Furniture, Balconies etc
A Weber BBQ and outdoor dining setting are on the main balcony. There is always a spare gas bottle which can be accessed by contacting Jamie, your host. NB: Your BBQ utensils are hanging on the front of the Weber Q.
In the afternoon, it is a good idea to wind out the awnings. They provide shade from the sun but don’t block the wonderful views.
There is a separate balcony terrace connected to the master bedroom.
Smoking
We ask that you please do not smoke in the house but feel free to smoke outside.
Towels
We have provided towels that are for use in the property they will be placed on your bed. Please provide your own towels for use on the beach.
Hammock Time
We have installed a hammock on the terrace level behind the house. The stand is left out permanently but the hammock sling can be found on the back of the laundry door. When you find it, just hook it onto the stand, grab a drink, lie back and enjoy the view! When you are leaving the house, please return the hammock to the laundry.
Bins
Bins are located in the kitchen area and in both bathrooms.
There are three main waste bins located on the kerb in front of the house; a general waste bin with a RED lid, a recycling bin with a YELLOW lid and an organic waste bin with a GREEN lid. The general waste garbage is collected early on a Monday morning each week and the other bins are collected on alternate Mondays. Check to see which one of the GREEN or YELLOW bins the neighbours have put out on Sunday night.
Supermarkets and Liquor
There is a good local store in Hardys Bay that also stocks a good wine list. A Woolworths is located in Woy Woy alongside Deepwater Plaza – 15 mins by car. The Kincumber Village Shopping Centre is 20 mins away and has a Coles Supermarket, a pharmacy and other assorted shops.
